Perdeberg Winery strikes gold again

Perdeberg Winery’s Dry Land Collection Barrel Fermented Chenin Blanc 2013 is scooping all the awards.

Earlier this month, at the 2015 Decanter World Wine Awards, it won the Gold International Trophy and now it’s been awarded Gold at the Old Mutual Trophy Wine Show held at the Mount Nelson in Cape Town.

Perdeberg Winery was also ranked second Top Value White Wine and eighth Top 10 Dry White Wine.

The Old Mutual Trophy Wine Show is South Africa’s premier wine competition that recognises the top local wines and winemakers, and honours excellence in the wine industry.

Show Chairman Michael Fridjhon was delighted with the dynamism shown by the industry. And of course, Perdeberg CEO, Gerhard van der Watt says he is absolutely thrilled to be winning yet another Gold along with all the other great accolades being bestowed on the winery.
